The Asian Women Empowerment (AWE) Network presents the AWE Webinar on ‘Leadership Coaching for Asian Women Professionals‘ on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, 12 pm – 1 pm PST. Please register for the free webinar at Eventbrite here.

Asian women professionals are the least likely minority group to be promoted into management and executive levels based on a report by the Ascend Foundation. In fact, Asian women professionals are “the forgotten minority in the glass ceiling conversation,” as observed by a Forbes article. The intersectionality of race and gender – being Asian and women – causes Asian women professionals to encounter a double whammy in advancing their careers into leadership and feeling contentment in their professional lives. Many Asian women professionals also feel that they are often caught in competing sets of stereotypes and face undue pressure to get it “just right.” The impact of cultural influences has created unconscious progression barriers, and the lack of upward mobility of Asian women professionals has resulted in the scarcity of role models in leadership positions.

As a network of Asian women professionals, the AWE Network can fully empathize and relate to Asian women professions’ struggles. We are here to make a change that matters not only to them but for our future generations to come as well. We want to pave the way for Asian women professionals to consciously and confidently step into leadership roles with their most authentic selves. This was what fueled us to create and launch the inaugural AWE Leadership Coaching Program, tailor-made exactly to advance Asian women professionals. This 10-week AWE Leadership Coaching program starting on March 8, 2021 provides a powerful triple-tiered coaching program of group and personalized 1:1 executive coaching sessions to best support Asian women professionals to flourish in their capabilities and step into their powerful visions.

This program will help Asian women professionals gain clarity on their values and use cultural influences as powerful allies to leverage as strengths. We will enable them to build their inner game, master self-management, and create pathways to unblock the progression barriers. By harnessing their energetic presence, building effective communication, and developing strategies to achieve their visions, they will connect with their authentic leadership styles that are aligned with their true core values and culture. We will create a safe space for these Asian women professionals to talk about their challenges and issues, find physiological safety, and build a lasting network of support with like-minded peers to lean on through their journeys to leadership.

This inaugural AWE Leadership Coaching Program will be offered at an introductory rate, and the deadline for application is Friday, February 19, 2021. We are now accepting applications through the AWE Leadership Coaching Program Application Page. Spaces are limited, and applications will be reviewed for suitability.

At this Informational Webinar for the program, we will share more details about the program’s vision, fees, and application process. If you are interested to learn more about the AWE Leadership Coaching Program for Asian women professionals, please sign up to attend the Informational Webinar.
